Quilt Preparation
- The back and batting should be at least 4 inches longer and wider than the quilt top.
- Square and iron the top and backing material.
- DO NOT baste or pin the quilt.
- Pre-shrink quilt top, backing and batting (unless an antique look is desired).
- Do not sandwich the quilt.
- Tops should be clean & free of pet hair & loose threads.
- Mark the top of quilt noting the head and foot of the quilt.
- Tucks or wavy borders may not be quilted flat.
- No sheets or polar fleece for backing.
